Meet Danielle

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I believe that every person has the capacity to heal when they feel seen, safe, and supported. I am passionate about working with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including religious/spiritual and sexual trauma. I am also passionate about healthy sexuality and relationships. Whether you’re carrying the weight of sexual shame, healing from trauma, or facing struggles with intimacy or sexual dysfunction, you deserve a safe, compassionate space where you can be seen and supported. I work to create a safe and protected space for all people, including those whose identities, beliefs, or lived experiences differ from my own.

My approach is relational, collaborative, and experiential. Healing isn’t just about talking, but about real, felt change. My practice is trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection. My hope is that through our connection, you experience not just insight, but transformation. As well as, a deeper sense of safety in your body, compassion for yourself, and confidence in your capacity to heal. You don’t have to do this alone.

Education & Training

I earned my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in education and psychology from North Greenville University (2007). I went on to earn a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (2025). Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the non-profit sector in foster care where I supported foster parents and relative caregivers.

My approach emphasizes emotional processing, connection, and healing through the therapeutic relationship. I have received training in sex therapy through the Institute for Sexual Wholeness. I am also a Sex Therapist Associate under consultation through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists (ABCST). My training also includes internal family systems (IFS), polyvagal theory, trauma-focused-cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-sensitive yoga. I integrate elements of each to create a holistic, personalized approach.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). I am currently seeing clients in the state of South Carolina.
