Individual Therapy
Therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and explore what you want your life to look like moving forward.
I provide individual therapy for adults in the Upstate of South Carolina and throughout the state through telehealth. I work with clients navigating sexuality, intimacy, relationships, trauma recovery, religious or spiritual harm, and other experiences that may be difficult to navigate alone.
You may be considering therapy because…
You are struggling with intimacy or connection
Are experiencing shame or confusion around sex or relationships
Are processing religious or spiritual experiences that have been painful or complicated
Are recovering from trauma or difficult past experiences
Want to better understand yourself and your relationships
Feel disconnected from yourself or others
therapeutic Approach & Areas of Focus
My approach is relational, collaborative, and experiential. Healing isn’t just about talking, but about real, felt change. My practice is trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection. My hope is that through our connection, you experience not just insight, but transformation. As well as, a deeper sense of safety in your body, compassion for yourself, and confidence in your capacity to heal. You don’t have to do this alone.
My approach is grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). In addition, my work is informed by concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and polyvagal theory. These perspectives help shape the way I understand experiences such as inner conflict, protective patterns, emotional regulation, and the nervous system.
My areas of focus include:
Purity Culture
Spiritual/Religious Harm
Betrayal Trauma
Sexual Desire Discrepancy
Sexual Trauma
Who I work with
I provide individual therapy for adults. My practice is particularly focused on supporting clients navigating sexuality, intimacy, trauma recovery, and religious or spiritual harm.
You do not need to share my personal views or values to work with me. I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, cultures, beliefs, and perspectives. My role is not to judge, persuade, or impose my beliefs, but to create a space where you can explore your experiences, values, and concerns openly and authentically.
I strive to practice with cultural awareness, humility, and an ongoing understanding of my own perspectives and biases. I recognize that my experiences and worldview shape how I see the world, and I remain attentive to how these may influence our work together. I welcome opportunities to learn from my clients and to explore differences with curiosity and respect.
